Our origin story…
We established Downtown Properties Real Estate Group in 2012, locating our operations in the beautiful city center of the unique and bustling university town of Fayetteville. Our mission from the beginning was simple: provide personalized, concierge-quality service for buyers and sellers, backed by years of solid real estate
experience.
In its early years, Downtown Properties was the catalyst behind several key Fayetteville projects that still factor prominently in the landscape of the community. We took a lead in renovation and repurposing of the historic UARK Bowl on Dickson Street and were part of the complete transformation of the old downtown Catholic church sanctuary, schoolhouse and rectory into upscale living. Downtown Properties was also involved with the stunning renovation of a crumbling University of Arkansas dormitory into the now beautiful Inn at Carnall Hall.
Who we are today…
Initially, our firm built its reputation on specializing in the unique features and benefits of downtown and historic properties. While this type of real estate is part of our core DNA and we have an innate understanding and appreciation for the special vibrancy found in downtowns, we now proudly represent buyers and sellers for properties found in all sorts of settings—from urban lofts to wooded hilltops and everything in between.
When we’re not out in the community, you’ll find us working from our offices on the top floor of The Pryor Center, an anchor building on one side of the iconic downtown Fayetteville Square. The view overlooks both the town and the Boston Mountains, reminding us in every season what a special region of the country we are privileged to help others call home.
